This influx transformed a sleepy agricultural town into the "Rocket City." Today, Huntsville has the highest concentration of engineers in the South. The culture is a unique blend of Southern hospitality and high-IQ nerd culture. It is a place where craft breweries are filled with people debating propulsion systems, and the skyline is dominated not by a bank or a church, but by a standing rocket at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
